Slim Moon still thinks of himself as a punk rocker, after all these years. After 17 years at record labels as founder of Kill Rock Stars and later doing A&R at Nonesuch and Rykodisc, Slim is happy to now be pursuing his true calling in life - helping artists he loves - in the way that best suits him, artist management.

Dr. Portia Sabin is a cultural anthropologist. While working on her Ph.D. at Columbia University she played drums, recorded, and toured with several New York City bands. She started managing bands in 2001, opened Shotclock Management in 2004, and took over running legendary punk label Kill Rock Stars full-time in October 2006.

Amanda Stark has deep roots in the music world. She started in the early 90's playing in a punk-folk band, and went on be a booker, promoter and publicist of musicians who inspired her. Since 1995 Amanda has managed artists on labels from Sony to Righteous Babe to Kill Rock Stars.

Hoyt Emerson is by all accounts obsessed with the proliferation of music and music minded people. After a number of years playing in bands and city hopping, Hoyt settled down and created the music blog thwbro.com to promote regional and national music. He has since stretched out to help run the record label Arena Rock Recording Co. as well as manage and help inspired musicians.
